Refer Someone for Transitional Housing & Support Services

Help Someone Take the Next Step Toward Independence

Do you know a young adult or individual who needs safe, stable housing and support as they work toward greater independence?

Floretta’s Foundation provides transitional housing and supportive services in the Greater Philadelphia area for individuals who need a safe place to live while building the skills, stability, and resources needed for independent living.

A step towards independence via safe housing.

If you are a social worker, case manager, foster-care professional, probation or reentry professional, healthcare provider, nonprofit organization, church, school, government agency, family member, or other community professional, you can use our referral process to connect an eligible individual with Floretta’s Foundation.

Who Can Be Referred?

Our housing program is designed to serve individuals who may benefit from structured, supportive shared housing.

Current populations of interest may include:

  • Young adults aging out of foster care
  • Former foster youth
  • Justice-involved individuals who are seeking stability and independent living
  • Veterans experiencing housing instability
  • Survivors of human trafficking
  • Adults age 65 and older who need appropriate housing support
  • Individuals experiencing housing instability who may benefit from supportive services

Availability, eligibility, program requirements, and housing placement depend on individual circumstances and available housing.

Submitting a referral does not guarantee housing placement.

The Referral Process

Our referral process is designed to help us understand the individual’s needs and determine whether our program may be an appropriate resource.

STEP FOUR

Housing Consideration

If an appropriate housing opportunity becomes available, the individual may proceed through the organization’s application and screening process.
